Great cables
I chose these over speaker wire as banana plugs are allegedly better for sound quality. These are certainly easier to use than speaker wire, as they’re just plug and play without any cutting or messing with copper. They’re good quality, very cost effective, and have very good flexibility. I only wish they offered them in more sizes!

They sound great for not much $$$
I've never bought speaker cables with banana plugs before and have previously bought fairly expensive cables and just bare wired it. I have also suspected that the expensive speaker wire thing was BS. I recently bought a new amp for the master bedroom to use with the TV and needed new wire to make it all work so i took a chance on these. I'm glad I did! the sound is as good as expensive cables. The banana plugs appear to be high quality, and it was really convenient to just plug the cables in rather than fight with bare wires. I will without question buy these again if need be.

Excellent value.
These are labeled on the jacket of the cable “AWM”, which means this cable is listed as “appliance wiring material”. While not necessarily the worst thing you could use as a speaker cable, it’s not the best either. They are decent, they look the part, and best of all, you can get a 12’ cable for under $7 to your door. I had the same issues with having to tighten all the connections on the plugs. One package was hardly assembled, loose pieces in the bag, but big deal. Tighten them up yourself and plug them in.As for the sound quality? They sound just fine. I didn’t notice any particular change in sound between these and some cheap 16 gauge speaker cable from eBay that I’ve been using till these came in.

Last minute Decision!
At the Last minute i decided to go with one more cable for my center channel. It is the shortest length in my build so I went with a ample length of 12 foot.It is a simple cable design plain black jacket and it was put together well. The boot works well with it and the ends are all heat shrunk.Again it is a different cable allowing me to distinguish it from my others on the back of my system, and the cable does flex and lay pretty good as well. IT is the wall type CL2 and you could buy aftermarket wrap for it down the road if you decide to add flair.I bought this to complete my cabling and it works great and the banana plugs are secure as well.Final thoughts: I would buy again if you just need simple cabling without buying bulk spools and ends, boots, and heat shrink etc. The cable is certified for in wall and is large enough to carry the signal for my needs. You needs may very.

Excellent cables with one caveat
These are nicely made cables. For years, I've cut, stripped, and soldered my own speaker cables, but as a wise man once said "I'm getting too old for this ***t. These make for a neat, effortless installation. I ordered three sets for my three front speakers. However, check the boxes before you throw them out! Two of my three cables were missing the business end of one of the banana plugs. They had come unscrewed in transit, and fortunately, they were still in the boxes. The rest were really loose, but easily tightened.

Fantastic entry to mid level speaker wire!
If you need speaker cables and you also like banana plugs, these Amazon Basics cables are excellent. Not top notch Monster-cable quality, but definitely heavy rubber shielded vs. loose speaker wire, worked great for me, and simple to use/swap/change with the integrated banana plugs...

Excellent
Excellent for the price. Guaranteed you will not find a better deal for a set of banana jacks with 16 awg wire and oxygen free copper. None of that CCA garbage here ( Copper Clad Aluminum) which is a fancy way of saying copper plated aka junk.

Adequate, but too many moving parts
I'm not an audiophile, but these plugs confused me and seemed of somewhat questionable quality, so I ended up returning them. They are certainly adequate and my speakers worked fine with them, but the plugs had too many moving parts that seemed completely unnecessary, and I was concerned the connection could loosen over time. I went with another banana plug that had no moving parts/screws and a more seamless/secure connection.
