Lactase Enzyme 9000 FCC ALU (Capsule, Pack of 60 Count)

The pills are quite effective. I am a highly lactose intolerant person. I cannot consume anything beyond 50 ml of milk. These pills have changed my life. Now I consume 400 ml of milk at one go without having any issues like burping, indigestion, acidity or diarrhoea. To get the desired result one needs to consume it at the proper time. For best results take it just before you start drinking milk or consuming any dairy product. It is not so effective if you take it afterwards. The second point to be remembered is that every time you take dairy products you need to take one pill. The enzyme lactase does not stay in your stomach for long.

I have bought this product for the second time. It is working in my case...

I had severe lactose intolerance. After trying the expensive yamoo successfully, I was little sceptical while buying this economical option. But to my great surprise and happiness, I found this to be as equally effective as yamoo and have been using it regularly since more than 3 years now and never had a reason to coplain about it's quality and price. I hope it remains the same qualitywise and pricewise.

Doesn't work well. The power is low.

I read the reviews of this here, thought it would work and the price is reasonable as well. So I bought the 60 caps one. I normally have the Yamoo or good ol' Lactaid. I use one 4500 ALU tab. with every 300 ml of milk. And I've had no issue. But I was honestly skeptical about this as it was from an Indian company based in Lucknow and the price was so cheap and the bottle doesn't look nice as well. So I used two capsules with 300 ml of milk. I had the capsules with my first sip of milk. I experienced bloating and gas in my stomach. So according to Bioven's nutrition facts, it would be 18000 ALU for two capsules. So I expected it to work. As with Lactaid only one 3000 ALU or 4500 ALU tablet works so well. Then I thought of opening two capsules in my milk and used it that way with 300 ml of milk with varying the time the contents of the capsules stayed in the milk before consuming. And still it didn't work that well. Not as I had expected with 18000 FCC ALU of Lactase. So definitely the claims of 9000 ALU of enzyme in a capsule mustn't be true. And one day I even used three capsules with the same 300 ml of milk. But bloating was still there. Now let me tell you about some things I realized about this When I opened the capsules in the milk the milk turned sweet. Now I don't know, maybe the enzyme Lactase reacted with Lactose present in the milk to form another sugar to make it taste sweet as Lactose is a sugar. Or maybe they have used sugar powder as a filler in the capsule. I can't confirm. The capsules looked really of low quality as compared to good branded supplements like Now etc. I'm never gonna buy this again. Won't waste my money. One should test their capsules for the real lactase content in them as their claims really don't seem true. So be careful. Lactaid and Yamoo definitely works. Their 18000 ALU is actually 18000 ALU. So never had any issue with them. Going back to Lactaid now. Hope this review helps others.

Didn't felt any difference

Works well for me. I vary the dose depending on how much lactose I estimate I'm going to be consuming at any given time. I don't drink milk straight, but if I'm going to have a milky coffee, I'll usually take two of these capsules and that works fine. Same dosage for, say, eating four squares of a ~50% dark chocolate. Maybe three capsules if I'm going to have a full chocolate dessert (or some other dessert with a fair amount of milk in it) by myself. I used to have to take at least four of the small Lactaid pills to achieve the same results as with two capsules of Bioven Lactase.

I'm a severely lactose intolerant person. If I consume even a tea spoon of milk or curds I bloat and it leads to at least two to four hours of flatulence with a lot of discomfort and stomach ache. If I happen to eat any desert or dairy product, it leads to severe diarrhoea. I have suffered since childhood. Recently, I came over this product and it's the first I tried. I consumed one capsule and drank 100 ml milk diluted with 200 ml water to test it first. I was fine. So next day I got bolder and consumed 200 ml of milk with no water and I was fine. The next day I got even bolder and drank 300 ml milk and since six hours am totally asymptomatic as of writing this review. I cannot explain what this means to a person who's never been able to tolerate milk all his life, but loves milk. I highly recommend you this product. It's far more adorable compared to Yamoo. And the 90 capsule bottle is even more reasonable. The only request is to make this product available on prime so we don't have to spend ₹100 on delivery. Don't think twice go for it!
