It won’t stay connected to my console, my console shows it’s connected one second then disconnected , then back to connected. I already updated the firmware on both, still not working. The buttons and joystick unresponsive.Shame, I really like the design and style of these (the Grey ones are shaped differently) but they just don’t work.

I wanted to come write a review for these controllers because the average rating for them is not as good as I would expect. Sure, you do have to manually update the firmware, and yes, you should probably also follow the instructions on calibration, but once you do those things, these work great, especially for $20! Motion controls and vibration work appropriately, and a little bit bigger and more comfortable to hold than OE joy cons. Only wish there was a Y cable included to charge both at the same time, but for the price, these can't be beat! This is a great set for young kids too. Don't have to worry about them being rough with the factory special edition joy cons!

This set of controllers work for Switch. Cool.Didn't buy it for that.Even the joycons can be used on PC.These aren't recognized by any PC as a controller therefor can't be used for anything other than playing Switch.These actually would have been great for the one handed remote I wanted to use it as.As for the performance as Joycon replacements.The rumble is obviously not HD Rumble. So a lot of features are not as smooth as they should be.Motion is fine.No amiibo or IR sensor support.These are big controllers. Nice to hold as single controllers. Horrendously uncomfortable for using both at the same time.the square design digs into your first fingers more that the NES does, and you really have to stretch to deal with the centered buttons.These were not really designed for being used together.I overall hate these controllers.(UPDATE) June 28, 2021SO, I recently found out there are programs that force these controllers to work on PC.Fantastic.I'm actually REMOVING a star because of Nyko's TERRIBLE service.As I said, I only used one controller for my computer and the other controller for gaming.WELL, as I found out, the right handed controller DIDN"T CHARGE.So I contacted Nyko's support services.They didn't just take a month to respond, after they told me they attached a repair label to the email,I noticed THEY DIDN'T, and sent a response telling them.They then took ANOTHER month, meaning the controllers were now out of warranty.They PURPOSEFULLY waited to run the warranty out to disallow me from sending in the faulty controller.(UPDATE) September 3, 2021About a month after making the last update, I was using the one workable controller for drawing.I literally just use the controller as a tool that has all of the keyboard shortcuts on on hand.It's what I used the original Joycon controller for, but the drift made it hard to use tools.WELL, one day I hear a loud SNAP. Sure enough, because it's transparent plastic, I can see there aren't actually springs holding up the SL/SR buttons in place.In fact the ONLY thing holding those buttons in place but a very thing piece of plastic that is attached to a single plastic rivet in the center of the stick.The stick snapped, so now the button that is not attached to the main rivet is just free floating within the controller and gets stuck. That wouldn't be so bad, since the button still worked perfectly fine.WELL until last night, when the button, still clicking (they did have a nice click to them) is very clearly not working. I'm using a controller mod for my PC to make the buttons perform key pressesand sure enough, it's showing that the SL button is no longer being detected as working.Remember, I'm not even using this controller to play games!I'm using it as a tool to use keyboard shortcuts!I'm surprised this controller lasted as long as it did. I can only imagine it's life would have been cut shorter had I actually used it to play games.But HEY. STILL NO DRIFT!! 😂⭐ Still no drift.⭐Great for using alone. (If it doesn't break)👎🏽 Cheap internal constriction allows for external buttons to break easily.👎🏽 Extremely uncomfortable to hold together.👎🏽 No amiibo or IR.👎🏽 Difficult to get working on PC. Requires special apps.👎🏽 Nyko's purposefully TERRIBLE service and unwillingness to replace a broken product.

I know these are mainly meant to work with a switch, but these controllers don't really respond well to either PC or my android phone. On PC I couldn't get steam to recognize these controllers and on my phone the sl and sr buttons don't work. I tried updating the firmware on the sticks and even tested button remapping programs, but sadly that did not fix the issue.

I bought these because they allegedly had motion control. I wanted my whole family to be able to play Just Dance 2023 together. I cheaped out and bought these Nyko Dualies. I assumed theyd work because they were being sold on Amazon. LOL. No. Evidently Nyko shipped a product THAT DOES NOT WORK RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. Nope. They nned a firmware update first. They wont connect to your switch unless you download firmware for them first. I tried doing that. firmware updates arent hard. I know you have to press the minus button on the one and the plus button on the other while doing the update. I know. I tried that. I tried three different computers six different usb c cables. Device error was the only response from the computer. Dont cheap out and waste your time and money on these. Just learn from me and buy joy cons.

These are decent controllers and I would fully recommend them for games where both controllers are used by the same person. They have not worked independently, such as for two players in Mario Kart -- will not register with switch correctly. The firmware update may correct this (haven't tried as yet). Due to that issue as well as lack of ability to read AMIIBOs, I recommend these as an additional instead of replacement to original joycons.The programmable turbo feature is extremely useful feature. For example, be able in Animal Crossing to run through villagers and airport dialogs or walk around and pick up multiple items without having to mash the A and Y respectively.Out of the box we noticed that games did not respond as expected when the stick was fully moved downwards; but calibrating the controllers per their manual -- a separate process then Switch's own calibration routine -- fixed that issue .Level of drift over time has been equal to that seen with our original joycons, and the same corrective steps -- namely cleaning -- addresses it to the same level as seen on the original joycons.

I thought mine would not connect as well but with a little bit of research and by just reading the “instructions” I was able to update, connect and use the controllers. Make sure to use a computer to update controller and read instructions.

Als Einzelkontroller z.B. für Mario Kart sehr viel angenehmer als die "halben" JoyCons.Schade, dass das Pairing nicht so reibungslos funktioniert wie bei den Original-Kontrollern. Das genaue Pairing-Ritual ist aber genau in der Anleitung beschrieben. Firmware-Update für die Kontroller war notwendig (ebenfalls in der Anleitung).1 Stern Abzug für den Pairing-Komfort, diese Schwachstelle ist aber ausreichend dokumentiert und wurde auch nicht irreführend beworben/verschwiegen.

Buen producto. Al principio no quería emparejar el mando derecho pero al leer el instructivo me di cuenta que se recomendaba actualizarlos primero y después de eso ya funcionaron muy bien. 100% recomendable como controles extra y llegaron de un día a otro.

Les manettes semblent au premier abord remplir leur fonction, après avoir compris comment les appareiller à la Switch et les avoirs misent à jour via le site du fabricant.En matière d'ergonomie, elles tiennent bien mieux en mains avec leur design mastoc, et les gâchettes d'épaules tombent bien mieux sous les doigts que celle des joycon de base. On peut reprocher un certain manque de lisibilité avec les touches entièrement en plastique noir.Testés sur Super Mario Party, les contrôles avec les touches répondent bien, jusqu'à ce que le jeu nous demande d'utiliser les fonctionnalités des gyroscopes, et là, c'est la cata.Si pour des gestes brusques (bouger rapidement la manette par exemple, comme pour lancer le dé dans Mario Party) la manette répond parfaitement ; quand il s'agit de faire des actions plus précises, les gyroscopes sont complètement à la ramasse et manquent cruellement de précision. Rédhibitoire pour moi, tant cela rend certains mini-jeux injouables.Article retourner immédiatement, rien ne vaut au final une paire de joycon officielle si vous voulez de la qualité.

Mi hijo los cataloga con un 10, una súper opción alternativa a los joycons originales, lo malo es que no se pueden montar a la consola, pero eso no ha impedido que mis hijos disfruten sus video juegos
