Great Cooling Performance and Quiet Operation
The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black is a fantastic air cooler for my CPU. Installation was straightforward, and the included AMD and Intel brackets made it easy to fit on my Ryzen AM5 system. The SickleFlow 120 PWM fan is quiet even at high speeds, and the 4 copper heat pipes along with the aluminum top cover efficiently dissipate heat. I noticed my CPU temperatures dropped significantly compared to the stock cooler, even during heavy gaming and multitasking. If you want reliable cooling without breaking the bank, this cooler is an excellent choice.

dropped temps by 40-50°C (omen 25L)
very good cooler, dropped the dreaded omen 25L cpu temps from 90°C to 30-50°C. for any omen 25L owners, i had to take the mobo out to install, but otherwise amazing for price and does its job very well

Great Budget CPU Cooler
Works so well, I've recommended this cooler to all my friends looking for better cooling on a budget. The cooler is fairly large but cools really well! I saw about a 20-degree Celsius difference in temps under load since I started using it. You never hear it, it's super silent! They include all kinds of brackets, so it fits a variety of different boards. Overall, the build quality isn't bad; it's lasted several months with no difference in performance compared to the old one.

Saved My Build — Finally Working Perfectly!
I was seriously starting to regret my entire build. I have an i9-12900KS and couldn't even get into the BIOS — just black screens and endless frustration. Tried reseating the CPU, swapping RAM, checking cables, you name it. Eventually realized the issue might be thermal-related, so I picked up the Hyper 212 Black after seeing solid reviews.Installation was smooth, especially for an air cooler this size. The mounting brackets for LGA 1700 worked without any fuss. Once it was on, temps dropped dramatically — like, instantly noticeable. And best of all? My system booted right up. BIOS, Windows, everything. The SickleFlow fan is surprisingly quiet, and the all-black design with the aluminum top gives it a premium look that blends nicely into my case. Honestly can’t believe this solved the issue, but I’m glad it did.If you're building with a high-end CPU like the 12900KS and running into weird stability or boot issues, don’t overlook cooling. This thing just works.

Decent cooling for the price
I purchased the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black to use in a small-footprint mATX build. I was replacing an aging PC and wanted to reduce the footprint. I was also going for a no RGB system as this system is also being used as a Plex server and will be on most of the time. The cooler looks good and fits well in my Cooler Master Q300L V2 case. Since LGA 1851 has the same mounting hole spacing, it is compatible with the new boards out of the box. The fan is decent and the cooler block is compact enough to not block the RAM slots. The fan clips are annoying, but I know they're generally a staple at coolers at this price point. The thermal paste that was supplied with the cooler was adequate.Installation was OK, though I experienced a couple of issues. First, the instructions are all pictograms, and their images for the fan clips are lacking. The bigger issue is that one of the size adjusters came off the mounting bracket and the screw fitting fell out. I got it back in place, but the adjusting slider would not lock in place anymore, so I had to support it with a finger as I tried to connect the screw. It eventually worked, but it's an issue with the cheap mounting bracket they provide. It does a decent job cooling my Core Ultra 7 265k. Idle temps with an ambient room temp of 23.5 Celsius are 32-34 Celsius depending on the core. Under load (Cinebench R23 multi-core test) some cores peaked at about 85 Celsius when the processor entered turbo mode but then cooled back to high 60s to mid 70s Celsius when the system dropped back to PL1. I have my PL2 set to 210 watts with PL1 at the default of 125 w, with the system set to run at PL2 for 64 seconds. The fan is very quiet at idle, and does not get that loud when it spins up.This is a good value cooler that will work with a variety of processors, though if you are looking to get peak performance or use the system for heavy gaming, you may want to look for a more robust cooler.

Sturdy and Effective Cooling with Appealing Aesthetics
This fan was selected for use in my new desktop computer, and my experience with it thus far has been positive. It looks good, with attractive color accents that enhance the overall appearance of my new desktop. Beyond aesthetics, the fan exhibits a robust and sturdy construction, instilling confidence in its long-term durability. Most importantly, it performs well, and moves a lot of air, which is crucial for maintaining optimal system performance. The fan's sturdy build is a notable advantage, suggesting resilience and longevity. Additionally, the appealing color scheme adds a welcome visual element to the computer's internal components. Its capacity to move a substantial amount of air is a critical pro, ensuring efficient cooling and contributing to the overall stability and performance of the system. At this time, no drawbacks have been identified. In conclusion, this fan proves to be a solid choice for a computer build, offering a combination of effective cooling performance, durable construction, and pleasing visual design. Its ability to move a significant volume of air, coupled with its sturdiness and attractive colors, makes it an excellent choice.

Great cooler compared to stock Wraith
Brought CPU temps down by 35 degrees C under load.CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600xWraith Cooler: 85-86 deg. C under load.CM Hyper 212: max 50-51 deg. C under same load.Easy install, but the fan mounts can be annoying. Quiet and slim.
