This is the best deodorant I have ever used! Let me tell you why. I am a large guy who starts sweating for just about any reason. I used to use antiperspirants, which worked decently well to mask body odor (if an excessive amount was used). But I hated the stains on my shirts, and the scent only masked BO for a short time, rather than eliminate it entirely. Also, it seemed that the antiperspirant was actually causing me to sweat more from my arm pits. I heard your body can get used to antiperspirants so I decided to make the switch to regular deodorants (and I tried many). I failed to find any that could keep BO at bay for even one day. I also developed armpit rashes from a few that I tried (Old Spice), so I decided to try something non-traditional.Now, I know that this salt deodorant stuff must sound like hippy nonsense. But trust me, it really works. And not only does it work, it out-performs any deodorant I have ever tried. I typically shower at night before bed and apply this deodorant then. I can make it through the entire next day (including weightlifting for 2+ hours) and still not detect even a hint of body odor.Pros: -It will probably last for 6+ months with heavy-daily use -It is unscented so I can use my favorite colognes without my deodorant interfering -It doesn't leave any residue on clothes -It is hypoallergenic (I guess. I'm not a doctor, but I know that I don't get rashes when using this). -It easily lasts for 24 hours if applied properly (even if you have an intense workout in the middle of the day and don't reapplyCons: -It takes longer to apply than normal and needs to be applied wet (*see below).*Because this deodorant is just a stick of salt crystal, your armpit needs to be wet in order for the salt to get applied to your skin. Again, it is just salt, so it goes on clear. This makes me nervous that I have not applied enough and so I usually apply a large amount to my armpits just to be safe. Following is my typical process for application: -I always apply this after getting out of the shower -I dry myself completely, and then use my hand to wipe some water from the sink on my armpits -I generally count 75 or more swipes of the deodorant stick to each armpit, making sure to apply to a large enough area to be sure I've got good coverage -I then use a blow dryer to dry my arms a bit before putting on a shirt (I assume that if I put a shirt on with my armpits still wet, the salt will just soak off my skin and into the shirt)This application process is obviously inconvenient (especially if you are away from home, who wants to bring a blow dryer around to apply deodorant?). I don't know if I'm applying more than necessary, and I don't know if using a blow dryer really helps. But I do know that this stuff stops body odor before it ever develops. Do yourself a favor and try this stuff. And if you're nervous to try it, just bring your old deodorant with you when you leave for the day. But you won't need it.

Seriously, this deodorant changed my life.I have never found a deodorant that actually keeps odor at Bay, no matter how many showers per day.I hate antiperspirant, have had bad experience over the years. Tried to be more kind to my skin and Earth over the years and used more natural products as it didn't make a difference anyway, mostly ended up using Dove men, and it basically masks the scent for a while. As far as I can tell, this alum salt product, stops the bacteria that cause b.o. and really does stop you from smelling. My son also tried it and smells less like a teenager.

Helped me while I was battling a allergic rash under arm pits. Overall it worked pretty good. The biggest part was not having anti-perspirant which caused sweating in the summer months. A good alternative to regular deodorant. The only annoyance was how long it takes to apply every morning. I'd using take 1-2 minutes on each arm to make sure it was applied properly. When I'd shorten the time, I noticed it wasn't nearly as effective

This deodorant is incredible! I play music professionally and am in front of people singing or addressing folks in various settings. I generally am pretty sweaty and hitherto this moment have been unable to find a product that keeps me dry and controls odor. Plus, I’m sensitive to antiperspirants, so I have had the double struggle for a lot of years. That struggle is no more with this product. I am completely amazed that I am 100% dry and have no odor AT ALL. I conducted for a couple hours before writing this review on top of being busy all day and I am still dry and do not smell anything. It is literally the most impressive deodorant I have ever found, hands down! You might want to give your stinky pit hair a trim and wash prior to use, but you will not regret this purchase. And the thing lasts for over a year, so you will certainly spend more on some fancy deodorant stick that won’t work. You have nothing to lose except your BO!

I bought several different deodorants trying to find one that would decrease odor while also not making me break out into a rash like most natural deodorants do. I was surprised when I ran across this one! No interaction with my sensitive skin and lasts all day through work and most of my gym workout. They last a long time so it's also an amazing value! Will keep using this till they stop making it!

I have been using Crystal deodorant since I discovered it around twenty years ago. It is extremely effective as a deodorant and it also has some antiperspirant quality. I can't use items sold as antiperspirants because they break me out. This gives Crystal an added bonus for me. This is the first time using this form. Previously I was only aware of the rounded roll-ups. Personally I llke this shape better. Also, besides being a terrific deodorant, Crystal is a monetary bargain. A single stick easily lasts me 2-1/2 to 3 years. In that time you would go through a lot of conventional deodorant sticks.

I have previously reviewed an earlier version of this fine deodorant. I'm very pleased with this new version. It is more balanced to handle and apply. It also appears that the plastic in the package is much higher quality and that the twist mechanism therefore will likely last longer.The rock crystal deodorant has always been first rate. Especially for those who do not a perfumed version.
