No More "Low Coolant" lights to look at.
After 25 years, the radiator on my 2000 Suburban decided it was done. Thankfully it never ran hot, but I kept having to top off the coolant until I got ready for the install. Found this one on Amazon at a reasonable price, and thanks to Youtube, after letting it sit up for 2 months, I finally took the time to install it. With the age of my Burb, I wanted to change out several things, including hoses, water pump, thermostat and coolant reservoir, as well as a dying oil pressure sensor. I know some stuff, but some things I'd rather not fool with on my own just from a time a frustration perspective. Well, trying to tackle all of this was more than I was equipped for, because I couldn't get the fan off to change the water pump, and didn't feel like climbing up onto the engine to change the oil pressure sensor, so the radiator, hoses and thermostat were it, and I'll let my mechanic deal with the rest. It's been a month since I completed the install, and there have been no coolant leaks and no dash lights showing Low Coolant. Glad I got it done before this Texas heat kicked in.

Arrived Damaged, Poor Quality Overall
Radiator arrived bent in the shape of a U. No damage to the box, seemingly just a poor quality product. I returned it 2 weeks ago and am still waiting for a refund. I ended up going to O’Reilly and spending $20 more for a much better quality one with a lifetime warranty.

Missing Hardware
Probably a good radiator but did not come with the mounting hardware as shown in the video. The 4 bolts and 4 square nuts are needed to mount this radiator properly. Both bottom bolts wrung off on my old radiator and I was down for two weeks getting the nuts and bolts to install this thing. The bolts are 8mm and the square nuts 8mm, but they can be no more than .51 inch wide in order to fit this radiator. If you plan on buying this radiator for a RAV4 take note this radiator has slots in the side of it that hold the square nuts. The factory one the same. It is impossible to use a hex head or other bolt to install this thing. Also the top crossbar and bottom crossbar have cuts in them for heat expansion. Both bars or rails are completely cut completely through.

Good Radiator
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve used TRQ before and had good results with their CV axles and I needed a radiator Quality:It doesn’t leak and cools just fine, it fits perfectly too.

Just like the dealership one
I do mechanic work on the side. And was helping out a friend which needed the radiator to be replaced. This came in decent packaging by the way. When installing it though. You have to force it in due to OEM parts being in the way. Just be very careful though and you can install it easily. Install this part a while ago and it still going strong. Also love it has 2 different bleed parts and made it super easy to bleed. For those who want to bleed it and don’t have a special compressor just open one the bleed parts and just grab the main hose line for the anti freeze and start pumping. You can literally hear the air push out.
