Flash Gordon

I found the CD to be all over the place. Some good songs but the majority left me indifferent.

Nothing to dislike, excellent music

Flash Gordon is an epic science fiction fantasy film that does not take itself seriously. You can see how the cast and crew had fun making this movie. With that said, the score by Queen is surprisingly quite good, fits perfectly with the film and is a taste of their signature style, fast paced deadpan lyrics amidst raging electric guitars, piano strikes, and electronic soundscapes. Dialogue from the film is blended in very well to evoke the atmosphere of the movie and capture some great one liners. I think the score without the dialogue would not stand as strong as it does. If you buy this out of the blue it may not be to your liking but if you have recently seen the film and buy this, you will LOVE IT!

Album molto particolare e per certi versi ecclettico. Quasi completamente strumentale e contestualizzato dalle frasi originali del film;non a molti è piaciuto. Personalmente a me piace molto e,sempre per me,vale assolutamente la pena di far parte della collezione di chiunque ami la band. Consigliato assolutamente a chi adora il film;ma anche a tutti coloro che amano la musica,poiché vale assolutamente la pena dargli un occasione.
