Baby Suction Plate and Matching Spoon Set, Suction Stay Put Feeding Plate Great for Baby LED WEANING, Natural Bamboo (Orange)

We really like the bamboo sectioned plates from a particular manufacturer and purchased this one thinking it would be as good. I was wrong and it’s currently on its way back to amazon. First of all the depth of the plate means that my little one can push food around much easier rather than pick up food items. Nonetheless, we continued with the plate. We used it twice, washed up shortly after each use and not submerged in the water for excessive amounts of time, my OH noticed that there was some cracking on the varnish of the spoon after the first wash. I thought he was just being an over particular carpenter. Not the case. It was peeling on the spoon handle and our little one had only used it once. We left the spoon out the second time we used it and after washing up the plate and drying we noticed that the plate had lost the varnish on the edges and had started to crack on the plate around the sections for food. At that point I just decided we will stick with the other brand of bamboo plates and sent this one back. Very disappointed all in all.

I wish I’d returned this and got a refund as it wasn’t cheap and i didn’t realise it was a poor imitation of bamboo bamboo which is superior. This wasn’t actually cheaper and the base came off pretty immediately which renders it useless. It’s also got a weird coating and I’m dubious as to its materials. Don’t buy it, buy the bamboo branded ones.

Good idea, nice looking, my daughter seemed to enjoy eating from it BUT the whole idea is that the suction is there to prevent the child from pulling the palate from the table and launching it across the room or dumping the contents on their head and in practice it doesn't work as my 11 month old was able to pull it from her high chair with very little effort and it came apart in two pieces. I love the look of these plates. Although once something is spilt on the surface the plate is suctioned to the plate begins to slide a little. It’s better on smoother plastic surfaces. No good on our wooden table. Love that you can organise different bits of food. Lovely plate just wish it was completely baby proof! Is there such thing ...

We'd had it six weeks, and thought it was a nice product, before it snapped in two when we pressed it down on the table in front of our baby. Of course, typically, it's now beyond the 30 day period to return it to Amazon, so we've wasted our money. Avoid.

What a fantastic product! I’m often dubious about buying online unless I have seen the item in real life first. I decided to give it a go as I really liked the idea of the suction plate.The product is great quality and well made. I ordered as a gift for a friend and I look forward to giving her this. I tried the suction plate on the bench at home and it sticks really well. I’m sure my friend will be just as impressed when she starts weaning her baby.Will definitely order again when the need arises

I ordered a plate and spoon set a few weeks ago. Whilst having tea tonight my 10 month old managed to detach the plate from the suction cup which left 2 metal pins protruding out. Luckily I was there and saw before there was any harm caused to my baby. However this could of been really nasty. It wasn’t a cheap item and I wish now I’d opted for the bamboo bamboo brand. Really disappointed and angry as now I see a lot of reviews which state the same thing! It’s a dangerous product for the target audience!!!

I’ve had this plate a couple of weeks now and I love it! Great suction on the bowl so no throwing around........ the spoon is nice and soft on little gums but with a sturdy bamboo handle. Love the idea of bamboo and the organic look of them, also very easy to clean. Will definitely be buying as presents for friends at Christmas!
