My tundra had the blower motor open on the bottom with 3 screws holding it in (8mm socket, hex, or flathead all work. I used flathead to unscrew) and a wire harness that was somewhat tight against it. I removed the old one in less than 3 minutes, got this part in and then ran into a problem. The plug/connector would not fit no matter how hard I tried to insert it/pull it out/ etc. it would slip in but not connect all the way. I ended up having to pull the new blower motor back out and get a different angle on it, used both my thumbs (one on each side of connector), and it snapped in rather easily. Not sure what I was doing wrong before besides it may need equal pressure on both sides to go on? Anyway, blows air. Not sure how it compares to new OEM but it’s leagues better than my old one that kept dying and barely blowing. For the price it’s a good deal.So far it performs well (1 hour of driving). It doesn’t make any vibrating noise that I can tell, and is rather quiet. If it breaks or anything I’ll report back.Update****: after I drove it a bit more it started making a really loud buzzing/whirling noise. I found out it’s because if you tighten the bolts too much it can cause it to vibrate something apparently. I loosened the bolts half a turn and the noise went away. Now it’s silent and still runs just fine. I have driven with it 6 hours now since I fixed the noise issue.

Receive my product and did an install myself. Very easy to install hardest part was positioning myself to tighten screws. Once connected tested it out and I am so glad I did not spend 200 at the local auto zone for this motor. It blows better than sky black. And is quiet as the original. It actually performs better…. I catch myself turning it off because of how cold the car gets now…. And I’m in Florida!!!

When I first tried to install it, the plug from the car would not go in easily. in looking closely the 1 of the 3 pins on the fan would not fit in and it was slightly bent. I needed to bend it slightly back to center then it installed easily. Other than that the install was super easy done in about 30 minutes total. Fit in a 2017 Highlander.

This fan fit well and was easy to install into my 2011 Lexus RX450h. It only took about 10 minutes to install. The only complaint I have is that the electrical connector would not snap in all the way and connect fully. One of the terminals on the new fan was slightly mis-aligned. After comparing the old and new fans and seeing the issue, I bent the terminal into the position it should have been in, then the connector snapped right into place.As far as noise goes, despite a few negative reviews about noise, I find that it is very quiet. The only reason that I replaced my existing original Lexus fan was that it made a constant "humming" noise. I believe the noise was made by the PWM driver that is attached to the fan and controls its speed. In either case, this new fan (which has a new driver attached) is much, much quieter. All I can hear now is the sound of the air moving through the ductwork and vents, which means it is working! No more motor noise.UPDATE: the fan worked well for about six months, then started making a horrible whining noise. I couldn't find any information about a warranty or contact customer service, so I purchased a better, slightly more expensive brand. That's what I should have done in the first place. I guess that's what I get for trying to save money by buying this one.
