Great buy
This makes a 1 1/3 inch cut. It doesn't cut through thick objects. So far I've used them to cut paper, sparkled art foam paper, and florist wire and they worked great. They were great for trimming paper and foam paper. The loop on the scissors is big enough to fit over my wrist, so it makes it very easy to carry. I wanted 2 pair of these scissors but it was cheaper to buy the 3 pack. I'll give the extra one to a friend who had a stroke. If they make these with a longer cutting blade I would buy a pair of those also for cutting wrapping paper.

Great for Youngsters
I was surprised that at my daughters daycare that they let the little ones use scissors. Of course supervised, but it was these scissors that i saw them using. It is great for the development of their motor skills and it is just wonderful to now see my daughter using these when she does her arts and crafts. They are great and a great size for little ones.

Good overall
Over all I like these for a great occupational tool. They are easy to use. They are a bit big for small hands though. I’d say more for older kids to preteens and adults. But still a good tool to introduce to kids with supervision.

...
These worked well in our situation getting the little one, who is a lefty, started on scissor skills as well as giving my gma the ability to do the projects with us when she still had the ability to do so. I am glad to have run across these when I was searching for something to help my lefty get started on learning how to use scissors. They cut well so,( if purchased for), younger or beginners they will still need to be monitored while using and learning scissor safety. Pleased with this purchase.

O.T. Recommends
My grandson's O.T. uses these scissors during his therapy sessions. They were so much easier for him to cut with. He has a difficult time manipulating fine motor skills due to his C.P.

Comfortable grip for early cutting skills
The scissors worked well for my daughter. The blades were not too long or pointed. So they were good and safe for right- and left-handed students learning to use scissors. The loop and handle gave my daughter good control. But they were easy, comfortable, and natural enough to grasp and manipulate. She really liked them and used them a long time. We are very pleased with these scissors.

Not fro Arthritic Hands
These loop scissors are not for those who wish to do precision cutting. . The blades are too short and very blunt.
