this is an excellent writing on a topic which is often implemented ineffective. Jawad strikes a chord when exploring the different production types and gives a very useful explanation on when to use process, discrete or repetitive manufacturing. I wish there would be more excellent information like this so that the user can make the right choices given the humongous task of finding the right function for your business.

Need more information & worksteps to define Process Chain Jobs & set Job run in Background schedule run. Also Need information on advance Micro.Other section is very good and is very useful books for all level of SCM Consultant.

The auther provides in depth details to the system functionality accompnaied with the needed t-codes to work out this functions.As a plant planner it helps me so far a lot to understand how to utlize the system in term of Master Data And Processing Orders as well SAP Material planning forecast based.

I loved Jawad's work and the effort he poured into making this book a real piece of art. It not only dives into the business processes in each type of production planning but it also covers key configuration details within each type. I was very disappointed with this book.I bought this while working as a production planner when my company converted to SAP. However, this book is written for someone looking to be an SAP consultant, rather than as an SAP user. There is an endless discussion of the minutiae about the features of the application, but no clear presentation about how to actually use SAP from sales order to shipping the finished goods.

Very good book, as first impression. To be used thouroughly
