Great solution, but...
Over time I've bought three of these. They area great for brightness and adjustability. The one thing you must remember is that, if you don't use these flashlights often, and they sit in a drawer or on a shelf, you have to replace the batteries regularly even if you don't use the flashlights. Otherwise you might one night have to go out and scare away a coyote only to find that the light won't come on at all because the batteries have corroded. Not a fault of the flashlight; more a fault of the Duracell overlord that manufacturers the batteries. Think on this a bit.

A very bright flashlight.
My eyes are not as good as they once were. Black objects do not stand out against dark backgrounds. This flashlight works well with its intense beam. I like it.A slight warning, this uses 4 "C" cells and they will not last long. I happily accept the tradeoff. And, the flashlight is black and it was hard to spot at times. I wrapped white tape around the head and I am going to keep it that way.

Bought 2 and one stopped working
I bought 2 of these and one of them had an issue with the button and would turn off after a few seconds. The build quality is fine and feels durable but would not recommend with a 50% failure rate. Also the beam in bright but not adjustable.

Great light BUT does NOT focus to a narrow beam

Hefty and can be stored in a car without significant degradation
My biggest problem with the small (using AA or AAA batteries) flashlights being stored in a vehicle is that the excessive cold and heat to which such flashlights will be exposed will lead to rapid (compared to the use of C and D batteries) degradation of the batteries. Hence this flashlight using C-cells is better from the standpoint of long-term reliability (don't get me wrong, all batteries require replacement, just C- and D-cells suffer less from the temperature extremes seen be being stored in a vehicle.)

Super bright
Exceeded expectations. Super bright and is easy to operate.

Descrition Is Not Accurate.
Although this 1500 lumen Duracell is very bright, it does NOT focus as stated in the description. It does have four settings, but no focusing ability. The Duracell 1000 lumens with 3 C batteries is the version that Does focus. That one It costs a lot more, but its focusing ability is very useful. I have both versions andprefer the 3 Cell 1000 lumens one.

Good flashlight
I used it to go hunting, it looks bright but it is not able to adjust to bright far enough to see in the distance
