best welding wire for me to date!
I had to go on a trip at included some welding repairs. We used this wire with a Harbor Freight bottom of the line welder, so I had many reservations. One comment I read regarding flux core wire is how other brands simply did not work well, and this has always been my experience. Poor penetration and poor fluidity when welding. So after doing some searching for a better wire, I tried this from Inetub... Surprised as could be at the welder, the wire made it work like a champ. The wire was smooth to feed and it debunked all of my previous thoughts about shielded wire welding. Even with that welder which only has a 20% duty cycle, I was able to weld up to 1/4" with very good penetration. My challenge was a thin folded metal tube that was welded to 16ga steel....the end result was a really good weld that I would never have been able to achieve before. One pass and done. So, absolutely without a doubt....wire is as important as wire speed, heat range, experience, and cleanliness of the surface. When I get back I will be ordering all new wire for my small mig welder at home and getting rid of all other wires as it impressed me that much.Normally I weld with Argon/CO2 mix for steel. I use a HTP MIG2400 for bigger projects and a Miller 130/140(?) for areas that the larger welder will not go. Not an expert at all, but I have MIG and TIG welded aluminum, steel, and different grades of stainless for close to 16-years. For something to make the process that much easier to work with...is worth it's weight in gold.

An excellent product and a good price too!
I have always used Hobart but this one is just a tad bit better! I have found that I get an excellent quality weld, and the spatter is about 50% of the Hobart. It is not that either one is so much better than the other or a stronger weldmet is accomplished, it is that it gives a little bit cleaner weld and I find it a tad bit easier to use as well. I will still buy and use Hobart as needed, but this is an excellent choice in my personal opinion...... and I am very biased toward USA made parts, tools, and supplies! :-) enjoy.

Maybe just getting better at welding
Purchased this for a Recently new Forney welder...and teaching myself to weld...small projects. It seems to have a bit more splatter than a Lincoln brand I installed when this one ran out. Maybe just getting better at welding?. I guess both are possible. I like using manufacture product, but also sometime, I need to go on to different brands ( not just welders). The Forney welder works great, and my reference point for the Forney wire is a bit weak due to being a novice. The wire worked great...that is...the welds are strong enough...albeit not very pretty...but I think it has a bit more splatter than others...An anti splatter product may be in my future. if you are a Forney user... this is probably good for you and I recommend this product. All comes down to personal choice...and availability (Lincoln in local hardware store)

If you have tried lincoln and had issues, you need to try this
I was frustrated with flux Mig welding since it was my first experience with welding and have had no guidance. I watched videos on the internet, etc, and had been improving my skill, but always ended in frustration. I went through a large spool of Lincoln which I had purchased back when I bought my welder. After banging my head against the wall, I did more research and came across this brand. It is much better than Lincoln. After putting on this roll, I made a gate out of 1/4 inch re-bar and it went so much smoother than when working with the old spool. I knocked this out quickly and was able to get much smoother beads using this product. I'd recommend this to everyone who wants a superior product without the extremely high price tag.

WORKS GREAT
I bought the HF 170 welder 3 years ago ans modified it (can find the instructions on the web) to increase the penetration and thickness it can weld. I was using Lincoln wire from Lowe's for first year, as way better than the HF stuff. Lincoln welded great, but left a lot of splatter. Read the reviews and tried this after burned thru last roll of Lincoln. When I bought this wire 2 years ago, I was near the end of my project (1/4 steel). Noticed an immediate improvement in the size and amount of splatter. Welds seemed about the same.Didn't do a lot of welding till yesterday. Started another large roll around machine base (1/4 thick steel). Was still very impressed with thee wire. Starts well and just keeps going. Lots of smoke and tan deposits, but that is same with all flux wire. I weld from both sides and can't break any of the welds when done (tried to on a test piece). Maybe a little bit better at not leaving and holes in the weld than the Lincoln I was using, or maybe I am getting to be a better welder. Like it enough that I just ordered 3 more rolls.

The best flux core wire ever!
Tried a bunch of other flux core wires with poor to mediocre results. At the end of every spool I would order another brand, over and over until I ordered Inetub. Best flux core wire I've ever used. I've easily gone through 30 pounds of it, smooth feeding, excellent penetration, minimal spatter.

Works great, 100% better than what came with the welder
Gave this stuff a shot since the wire that I had, came with the welder, and I've heard flux wire that comes with welders sucks. Well it did, I couldn't weld a single thing with it, nothing would stick. I was getting very frustrated. So I bought this stuff hoping that was the reason, and...Absolutely. The welder works perfectly with this wire, I've welded exhaust systems, diy stuff for putting together a gas powered scooter, etc. I had to buy .035" tips since the welder didn't come with any, which is obvious. I could have bought this wire in .030, but I wanted the .035". If there's a better flux wire out there, I haven't used it. I'm very happy with it.

Welding Wire
If you are a rookie welder like me, this wire can help. Other reviewers have commented about the quality of wire available from various local suppliers, and I thank them for directing me to this product. It seems to be a bit more predictable and easier to control than others I have used, so I recommend practicing with the spool provided with the welder, and then after you have splattered it all up, switch to this and you will see the difference. It won't make you a great welder, but it might help a little.
