CLUCK Yolk Separator

I love that it's shaped like a chicken, so it looks like it's laying the egg yolk. This is pretty small, can only hold one yolk at a time, and the yolk doesn't quite get sucked all the way in, so a little care is required in handling. Works fine, though.

The suction portion is ineffective. I used it for Medium, Large and Jumbo size eggs and the result was the same. It's a cute concept but useless in execution. Don't waste your money.

Didn't work for me. Broke the yokes on all 4 tries. I prefer the Yolkfish, which is also not perfect but better trial run than this.

Waste of money! Its completely useless, it doesn't do the 1 job that it has.

Certainly had WI members fooled , at our monthly competition! Most thought it was for holding pies up , won 1st prize ! Works well, very tactile .

Separating egg yolk from egg white

This is great as a funny secret santa gift or novelty present for those less used to the kitchen

Looks cute but doesn't hold egg yolk firmly. Easy to use as you crack egg in bowl, pop hole over egg yolk, squeeze hen's tummy and when you release it, it sucks the yolk up inside the hen. I was using medium eggs and half the yolks slipped back out before I could even move it away from the bowl, resulting in several broken, useless egg yolks! I'm giving it to my 4 year old to play with and buying the old-fashioned separator - just like the one my mum has been using since I was a child (30 odd years ago!). Hopefully the next one will last as long as Mum's!
