Norpro Silicone Spatula, Small, Red

What is there to say. It's a spatula that is narrow enough to scrape out jars . It's also heat resistant. Not a complex product.

I repurpose many jars from products we use in our home and used to use a table knife to clean out residual mayo, peanut butter, etc. But this spatula works soooo much better especially with peanut butter where it seems like the jars have so many little nooks. The jar may look close to empty but this spatula never fails to surprise me with the quantity it will scape out.

I have had two of these for forever and they were given to my by my mother. I was careless using them with bladed appliances and finally had to replace them. A standard spatula is just too big for cans and jars. These are perfect and now I own 4 new ones! I do own normal sized spatulas too, but these do 90% of the spatula work in my kitchen.

Would be more practical if the blade doesn't separate from handle to avoid contamination.

A little smaller than I expected but good for cleaning out small jars! It feels good in my hand. A cheerful little tool.

We've had one of these spatulas for several years and love it, so we ordered another. Unfortunately, the blade edge on this new one is NOT sharp, like the original, but quite blunt. This makes it difficult to do what the original does well, that is, to scrape off the inside of bowls and jars, It's like someone at the factory changed the operation of the blade mold, making it thicker and far less effective. Do the executives in charge of production actually use this spatula? I doubt it.
