It was a good idea
The good part was the design concept: it is compact and attractive. The part I did not care for is the actual comb part -- the teeth are plastic that seems flimsy. If your cat has long hair that gets tangles in it, this thing will not do the job. I would not even try to use it on a dog. My cat does not actually like being brushed but I was hoping to find something that would help me control the cloud of loose hair that follows her around at times. Sadly, this was not it.

Best grooming brush I've tried--hardly any difference in short/long hair versions, though
I've been regularly brushing my cats for months with other brushes. When I started brushing them with these, it was like I'd never done it. So. Much. Hair. They look and feel so nice now!We have three cats--two short hairs and one long hair, so I bought both versions. I can barely tell the difference. I would not bother. I would give 5 stars, but one of them (not sure if it's short or long hair) isn't fully glued together. So, when I'm trying to open it, sometimes it comes apart instead of opening.

This is the ONLY one you’ll ever need
I have a regular domestic shorthair tiger cat and out of the blue, he had a bunch of matted hair on each side from from leg to back. I tried using a little plastic comb that I’ve used to comb excess hair from both my cats - that didn’t work and neither did the metal grooming comb I bought. Well then I saw this and it was perfect. It gives you 2 options and I was able to get all the matts out and a nice grooming tool to use on a regular basis. Save yourself the aggravation of trying all the others, this is the only grooming tool you’ll need

I love these!
Very hard to open at first but the brushes work great!I have to store it just gently closed bc it’s too hard to open when fully sealed shut.But the two brushes work great and have really helped keep my kittens’ coats shiny and clean and soft.

Nice design pet comb！

Definitely reduced the fur. Nice packaging. I got one for my sister who has one long hair cat that shed horribly. Her cat loves it.

My Kitty Girl Loves It!
Seriously, my 13 year old cat sheds like a fiend, but would never let us comb her (petting, yes, combing, no!) But she just loves the longer, curved side of this comb & I can finally thin out her undercoat so we have less hair flying around the room, whenever she's around!Just love this product!

Love it - Better than expected!!
It works just at it is intended to. It actually works better than I expected! My cat loves it as well. She has a LOT of hair and after a couple of sessions combing her fur with this brush, she is happy and we are too because there is not that much hair left on the sofa or on the beds. She looks great too! Thanks a lot!! Would definitely recommend it for animals with long fur.

Great Tool
I brush my cat all the time, but he was still shedding. I thought I would try this comb. I can't believe how much hair was in the comb just after a couple of passes. I would highly recommend this comb.Also, the order arrived quickly and was packaged well.

I have not been able to use this item yet as my kitten is yet to arrive but I am sure it will come in very handy!
