Carpenter Brut is a very French genius. Coolest music ever. Play this in your car and suddenly you’re driving a Ferrari testarossa through a cyberpunk dystopian city.Can’t wait for Blood Machines.

Brutally good synthwave

After listening to the masterpiece that is Trilogy, I thought there was no way that Carpenter Brut could ever live up to it. Turns out he didn't, instead of making what would be essentially "Trilogy's less loved younger brother", he took a different angle to the 80's and then blew that completely out of the water. If you are looking for more of Trilogy, you will be dissapointed. This is more of something that combines Carpenter Brut's previous efforts with 80's glam metal done in sort of a 80's B movie soundtrack style, flavour story included. Also, it's one vinyl LP and it's still in a fold-out album, just to show off the art.

Vaya descubrimiento, de los mejor del rollo New Retro 80's, de verdad, una obra maestra. Si naciste a meiados finales de los 70, y viviste los 80, este album es obligatorio.

Un album toujours aussi bon, avec quelques morceaux assez différents de ce que Carpenter Brut a pu faire jusqu'à présent.Vraiment dommage par contre que le vinyle ne contienne pas un code pour télécharger l'album en version numérique comme cela se fait beaucoup ces temps-ci...

Todo un imprescindible para cualquiera que le guste todo lo relacionado con el terror/ciencia ficción de los años 80 y del synthwave.
