While the product description did say it would fit MTD snowblowers, it did not specifically say Cub Cadet. I knew that Cub was now an MTD brand, so I bought these hoping they would fit. They function properly in my late model Cub Cadet snowblower purchased from Home Depot a year ago. Another vendor listed Cub Cadet snowblowers as a fit, but they wanted a ridiculous amount for a single key.Now if I could just figure out how I lost the OEM key. Blower wouldn't start and it took be a while to see that the key was missing. Had a backup that came with the unit and ordered these to serve as backup to that one.

I owe a Craftsman snowblower which is now reaching 10 years. After using a snow shovel for many years because I was too cheap to purchase a snow blower, I decided after I retired to finally open the purse string and get one. Long story short, I misplaced both keys. The keys I order worked just as well as the original. If I lose these two I know where I can order more...

I bought these as a back up to my ket for my yard machine snowblower ( i case i lost the key) . yard machine is a MTD product. the owner's manual has the key number at 731-05632. This key fits! great price and fast shipping! Thanks!

This key works just fine in my Cub Cadet snowblower. I bought 2 of them because 1 of the original keys was lost.

These are the same as what came with it, though maybe a slightly different color. It's ridiculous to bother putting a key on a machine like this, but they have them, and they get lost. So if you lost yours, then these will work for you. I wired the new one to the snow blower, so it can't reach any moving parts, and can't get lost.
