Spooky Story!
I just finished Mirrored. What a spooky tale! It keep me awake one night when I tried to sleep, so I had to read it early in the evening, then read something light-hearted right before bed. The author does a very good job of weaving all the characters together toward the climatic ending. If you love scary stories, you'll love this one!

GREAT read!
The cover of Mirrored caught my attention and after I read what the book was about, knew it was a book I'd enjoy. It's an easy read, perfect for those times when you want to be carried away, i.e.; whiling away time at the beach, on the porch, or sitting under a tree on a beautiful day. I highly recommend it!

Romantic Supernatural Suspense in the Gothic Style
Strongly rooted in the Supernatural of many flavours, this romantic suspense interweaves early-onset demonic possession, voodoo, and spectacularly spooky hauntings with familial curses and the wheel of fortune returning evil for evil performed. Christine Albright leads a normal, and content, life as an in-demand international interior designer, whose reputation and contacts come by word of mouth from satisfied clients. But as an adolescent, she spent seven days in the grip of a demonic possession, overcome only by the power of prayer and the exorcism rites of the Catholic Church. Christine has put that behind her, so she thinks.Encountering a sixteen-year-old whose life basically stalled at the age of eight when her parents died in a home explosion, Celestine, awakens Christine's unwanted memories of the demon from her adolescence, and visiting an antique shop in New Orleans' French Quarters only opens a door wider into evil, aimed at both Celestine and Christine, and extending to those near them, including Christine's unexpected new love interest, Jonathan, a man who suffered a great loss some years ago and who subsequently has little belief in any Higher Power."Mirrored" will appeal to readers who enjoy their romantic suspense mixed with some of the darker overtones of Gothic romance as was popular in the mid-20th century, and with Supernatural manifestations, hauntings, and the incursion of evil. The romantic element is done well and tastefully, and evokes the emotions of the characters as well.

I would love to see this story taken back to the drawing board
Mirrored throws into the supernatural action from page one!Unfortunately that awesomeness fizzles out at the end of page 5. This story has amazing potential but so many plot holes that you find yourself distracted from the story thinking 'this is ridiculous!' I would love to see Frederick J. Arceneaux take this story and re-vamp it, filling in the plot holes and extending the story time-line. The supernatural element of Mirrored is well executed and detailed. The romance that blossoms within the story is really ridiculous. If the story line expanded over more than the 3 days I could see this romance happening, however the 'honey, darling, sweethearts' that are exchanged make me want to vomit.I would love to see this story taken back to the drawing board. I enjoyed the supernatural content, but other than that the story needs work.
