Nice book. Good for absolute beginners... you can teach your kids yourself and pay for piano lessons when they finish the book! No need for you to be a muso as you can learn together! I've since stopped the piano lessons and and am the teacher...

Purchased this product on the recommendation of my daughter piano teacher. Very good works well with the lessons she is doing. Easy to use in conjunction with her teacher. Happy

I have used these little books with my beginner pupils to accompany the work in the primer lessons book for many years. Although not absolutely perfect in content, they link well with the piano books - I guess like all teachers do, you need to adapt some pages and add additional material where necessary. Anyway, thank you Bastien for the books! What I really like about this whole piano method is the way it works through basic key hand positions; tonic triad chords are introduced quite early on which opens up the chance to transpose easily at an early stage of playing and gives me a way to simply extend the material on each page for keen and able pupils. I think I could do without the black note pieces at the very beginning but they do give children a way to navigate around the keyboard by spotting the patterns made by the black and white notes.

Completely unusable. It is a theory work book but had all the answers written in by previous owner. Some answers in pencil which would not rub out and some in pen. It is useless.

Tho book was totally overwritting with notes and drawings in both pencil and ballpoint pen.

Perfect for learning piano. Good price.

All my students start in this book

Bought this and the other primer level books for my 7 yr old daughter who wants to learn piano. Her teacher recommend we get these and start with these so she can practice at home. She does very well with all the books that we got her. Very easy to follow. I am musically inclined and I play many instruments, however piano is not one of them. So the books are great to have around if you want to teach yourself a little more and learn with your kids. I have definitely learned a little more myself while helping my daughter to practice. As she continues to grow musically I am sure we will follow with the series. As always, with anything that requires practice, this will only help you to learn and to expand your knowledge. It is up to you or your child to practice and learn through repetition.
