Create larger hats. 60 total double pegs.

I've been knitting since I was 4 years old. However, at 78, arthritis is making it very difficult. These looms are great! So easy to use. Patterns created from using variegated yarn are terrific!

I bought this loom with the premise of doing a double knit cowl pattern, however, our group has been doing hats - I bought a flexi looms to try out making a hat doing decreases and removing sets of pegs to give the hat a more curved finished look. After starting to work with the flexi loom bc they do flex while you use them - I thought of putting the started hat on to this double knit stand. I had bought the connectors for attaching other size rings, but the flexi is working really good on this and I like the height it gives for working the loom. The connecting arms can be faced inside to fit smaller looms - so far I've only done a couple rows with this loom attached and I absolutely love it!❤️ So maybe someday I'll actually do a double knit cowl on it, lol!

I bought this set of looms because I had made a scarf using a 10 peg repeat pattern on my 3/8" gauge all in one loom. Easier to make the hat on a round loom of the same gauge but I didn't have one that would match the 10 peg repeat. These looms had 60 pegs which was perfect and will work for other patterns I have as well. This is easier than using my all in one loom for a hat.

wish it weren't plastic - when changing this out I am SOOOO afraid I am going to bust the plastic, it is a little difficult to get the sliders to release (what "snaps" it into place). Other wise I am so glad for the rotating loom and the larger piece!! love that I can make larger hats - my one son's family all have larger heads.

As I sound, it didn’t come with everything that is supposed to have. I didn’t come with the legs. It only came with two tops and nothing in between and if you look at the box and you look at the instructions, actual thing you’re supposed to have far freaking legs.

I understand why this loom topper is shaped the way it is (to fit in more pegs on the same base), but I find it a little more challenging to use than the original (round) double knit loom topper. For one thing, if you are going around the loom placing the yarn around alternating pegs on the inside and outside looms, you will find that the length of yarn varies quite a bit between pegs because the odd shape places those inside and outside alternating pegs varying distances apart. I am working on my first hat on the loom and I am hoping this varying distance doesn't create inconsistent tension between stitches in different parts of the hat. I may be jumping the gun, so I will check back with a photo of my hat and a note about the consistency of the stitches. Note Added: My hat turned out fine. After doing several rows, I had pretty much developed muscle memory of the line up of pegs. Additional note: I am now on my third hat on this loom and I find that the strange shape does not affect the tension as far as I can see.

I'd like the ease of the use of the knitting machine. The rotating part increased the speed of use. It gives you a beautiful product. The only thing that I would add I would Have two sets of legs at different lengths and sale one set as an additional item that you could purchase if you want longer legs.

I love this loom topper. Perfect for cowls!

Dieser Loom ist eine gute Ergänzung für meinen schon vorhandenen runden Doppelloom auf einem Drehteller. Die Pins sind enger, deshalb auch für etwas dünnere Wolle gut geeignet. Ich kann das Zusatzteil empfehlen, da es gut auf meinen schon vorhandenen Drehteller passt. Dieser Loom wird ohne Drehteller geliefert. Wie immer eine gute Qualität von Kb.

I bought this to hold in my hand and knit, as I don’t have a stand for these looms. I found it very comfortable to hold and manoeuvre. The pegs are thinner and closer together than on the standard round looms, which is why I bought them. I can use finer yarns, smaller than 8 ply, and get a lovely even knit. Very happy!

Ho comprato il Loom toppers, con foto ingannevole che faceva pensare che sarebbe arrivato anche il supporto girevole. MA sono arrivati solo i due telai. Scoprivo in quel momento che avrei dovuto comprare separatamente il supporto. Ordinati i connettori sono arrivati, anche stavolta senza il supporto girevole. CHE NON ESISTE! Quindi mi ritrovo i due telai, i connettori e di entrambi non so che farmene. Dovrò renderli. avrei voluto mettere zero stelle, ma Amazon mi obbliga a metterne almeno una. Mai più.

Con este loom los gorros quedan muy bien.

Ce produit est nul car sans le plateau rotatif il ne sert à rien !!! Et comme tout est écrit en anglais, les non initiés ne comprennent pas ce qu'ils achètent exactement... moi je voulais le plateau rotatif et je me suis retrouvée avec des élastiques et des espèces de supports que l'on ne peut fixer à rien si l'on n'a pas les pieds du plateau rotatif. Belle arnaque car le plateau rotatif n'est disponible nulle part. JE SUIS TRÈS DÉÇUE ET NE RECOMMANDE PAS.
