Stealth CamEpic Wide Angle Action Camera

Not good for low light use.

Great little inexpensive camera. I have it mounted on the dash of my Cessna.

Have used it for a 3 day trip and noticed the following:1) Due to the wide action lens, all straight lines appear curved. The horizon thus looks really weird.2) It simply doesn't work in semi low-light conditions. Tried taking a photo in a lit hotel lobby at night as well as a short video at home (also at night) and in both cases the picture is extremely dark and oddly purple.3) It is sold as being rain proof - this is simply not true. After a brief rain shower on the 2nd day of the trip the camera was completely flooded. Turning it around made the water move around inside the lens and display.4) The water proof casing that came with it is useless - when inserted, the buttons do not align properly and you can then not operate the camera inside. Adding a little spacer to make it line up makes one button (out of two) operable.5) The video encoded is poorly done. I can encode 1.3GB of video from the camera to 96MB in AVC with the same quality.On the plus side, the picture quality during the day is quite good (aside from the bent horizon problem mentioned above).Overall this is a worthless piece of junk, buy something else.
