This 596-5 fuel tank filter canister must be screwed into either a Goldenrod 1" top cap (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004RGXY7E) or a Goldenrod 3/4" top cap (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004MFCBTC) that is installed in line with a fuel pump. If you don't have either a top cap or a canister, a full 1" unit (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BVX8ZW) or a full 3/4" unit (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LKWZCFU) can be purchased.

Thanks for your question, but this 596-5 is a fuel tank filter. It is not a fuel filter that can be used with motors or engines.

Thanks for clarifying, but our filters are not compatible with any material that has that high of a temperature. This 596-5 fuel tank filter canister removes microscopic particles of contaminants as small as 10 microns.
