I needed a merino base layer to take with me on my walking in Spain when it can be a bit chilly early mornings and at heights. This is perfect. Very good quality and a lovely shape. I am a size 12 and I got the medium and it's perfect and a good length. I like the flap over the zip at the neck as well. I think it's quite stylish as well.

I love the fit and the design is pretty and stands out

Excellent top, performed well in cross country skiing at -5°C (classic and skating), with no unpleasant smell after the exertion. The sizing seems to be more generous than other HH lifa/merino tops I have bought in the past (I could have bought a smaller size, but it still fits comfortably). The colour is a bit dull, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

I would give it 3.5 Stars - compared to the former version thanks god now there's a chin protection for the zipper even for women... what I really dislike are the thick seams - around the arms and also in the bust area - easy to catch the nipples... - it's a shirt for sport and they should be flat or even better non-existent. Compared to the former version they seem thicker to me and badly placed - diagonal-horizontal instead of vertical.There are no stretchy narrow cuffs anymore. I think I like this - but I would prefer not to have these seams around the underarm. I chose a size up compared to my old tight one's, but the shirt is a bit large, maybe they are a bit roomier overall now. The Merino seems to be a bit smoother and thicker - it's more like a winter shirt - I wear the old shirt all year e.g. in the mountains. Not sure whether I would take this with me in summer now.Besides I start to like the styles, but the seams are overall a bit strangely placed, you also have some at the back close to the neck in this nice shiny yellow ...P.S.: there seems to be a seamless version now as well - the collar seems to be quite sloppy - generally the half zip is one of the best features of these shirts...

Really warm but light - can wear under a shirt and is not bulky. True to size. Would buy again.

Nice quality. Soft, not scratchy or prickly. It's soft enough that I can wear it directly on my skin even when exercising. Bought because wool stays warm even when it's wet, so good choice for winter sports (snowshoe, winter hiking, nordic and alpine ski, water hiking Zion Narrows in winter). I wish I could find matching solid black wool bottoms (at a reasonable price).

I love the HH merino baselayers. I ordered a medium because I read the brand usually runs a little small, which I would agree with. I’m usually a small in tops, I’m 5’6” and 130lbs. I bought the medium because this is a 1/4 zip and I thought I might wear a light baselayer under it. It’s still form fitting, but there is just enough room to do that if I wanted. Im sure the small would be pretty skintight. It hits 1-2”. below my hip bones and is really well constructed. I’m very happy with it.
