Rack is decent. I would give 5 stars but the steering seems a little stiffer than it should be turning left and right. But it may losen up over time. I just have had a couple that wasn't that tight out of the box. It did however remove the play from my steering and is now safe again. Yes safe, once you notice a lot of play in the rack it can fail and you won't be able to turn, can be dangerous, so don't wait to replace. This unit will do the job just fine.

Direct replacement for original steering gear on my '96 lifted EZGO TXT. Old rack was very worn in center position leading to constant correction to maintain straight travel. New unit fit perfectly, all holes right size and lined up as they should, no modification necessary. Very happy with product and now my cart really goes straight!

Works as it should.

My cart had a lot of slack from wear in the steering. The cart would wander around the road. This steering box fixed the problem, much safer. I did have to do some alignment but it wasn't hard. Great price, timely delivery and it fixed the problem.

Good fit

easy install, used on 2016 Yamaha Drive Golf cart, drives perfect but alignment is critical
