It always amazes me at how creative items made in Japan are. This is simply a beautifully designed and very functional coffee dripper. I love looking at it, it's easy to hold and wash, and my coffee did taste better. I have Japanese made knives as well, and they are incredible. Perfection! I hope others who purchase this item are as pleased as I am.

Great for one cuppa joe.
I was using the v60 02 for making one cup which was fine. But I read that the hole a the bottom of the v60 01 is sized for one cup and it also allows you to pour your water closer to the grounds. In other words it is optimized for one cup. Having said this the V60 02 made a good cup too.
