A Great bookIt's a great book to have, lots of good information and well explained.

This is a Great book! It covers everything in an easy to read and understandable format.Text explains most basic to intermediate and advance S7-300 instructions through manyworked-out examples and explanations of the solutions. Since this is a self-teach manual,it is assumed that reader may not have any access to a PLC instructor, to discuss anyproblems. It does not require you to read the book cover-to-cover as well.You can use it as an as-you-go reference guide, to quickly get yourself going.

Excellent book ... it is filled out with lots of worked out examples with complet solutions which helped me to better understant how to use instructions

i checked the preview of the book at my kindle. So far only some general facts about the Siemens PLC is uncovered, but nothing about the real important content of the book. from these facts i would not recommend to buy the book. one or two chapters which are written about S7-programming would be way more interesting to read about and finally to make a decision to buy or not.

This book is consisted of about 390 pages with many examples one can practice the application of STEP7 software instructions that are applicable to other brands of PLCs as well. I disagree with the previous reviewer. I have learned so much from it! It is a useful tool with practical applications and examples which make things very clear, and easy to understand and apply.

In this book application of S7-PLCsim-PLC Simulator Software is covered which allows the reader to simulate the code without any physical PLC at hand. 13 great complementary practical programming examples all with solutions help the reader understand the concepts. This book was only supposed to be a reference for my PLC project but I have learned so much from it!
