Put my headphones in every Sunday and listen to an hour or two of this audiobook. Stunning audio and voice acting. Immerse so intensely into the book. Can’t believe this exist. Studying the Bible slowly but feel so blessed to be able to lived this long to appreciate such magical work. God Bless.

I am an old Christian. I have studied this book a lot throughout my life, but until now I am ashamed to admit I have struggled with reading it straight through from cover to cover. This summer I was inspired to read it cover to cover and I got through a few books slowly but then I found this recording! Game changer!! The changing voices make it so easy to see when a speaker has changed or is being emotional. Now I feel like I am flying through and understanding more!! I can pause it anytime to underline the passages that speak to me personally or reveal the character of God. Also the context of the stories is so much easier to understand. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

I really did not know what was meant by “theatrical” version, but this is a great way to listen to the Bible on long drives and trips. I’m really enjoying it. The “theatrics” of changing voices and even audio effects grabs and keeps my attention.

If you don't like to read, this is GREAT for you. It's really fun listening to the Bible this way.

I am enjoying the NKJV AUDIO Bible. It is so hard to try to pronounce so many of the names and names of cities in the Bible. It is awesome to have them pronounced for me in the readings of the audible Bible. I am wondering if I can continue to use my 1 point each month to continue to get This version free monthly? Also can I use it on all my electronic devises?

Great audio book

A brilliant, BRILLIANT production. The audio book really brings The Bible alive. It goes beyond 'head knowledge' and sinks in. I think my quiet 'open book' Lectio Divina meditations will be greatly enhanced by listening to this as a supplement. I can't get enough of this audio production and I wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a fantastic service to God. Really fantastic. One of my best investments ever. Thank you

The Word of Promise CDs are outstanding. They really bring the Bible to life. Our six-year-old son listens to one of these CDs every night when he is ready for bed. It is amazing how much he remembers! We originally just had the New Testament, and he listened all the way through it at least 10 times. He kept begging us to get more Bible Cds for him to listen to, so we decided we better buy the Old Testament CDs for him. He was so excited when he got them! He has already listened to the first 10 Cds (some of them several times). We have heard many Bible recordings, but the Word of Promise version is incredible both for Old & New Testament. This is radio theatre at its finest. Not only that, but it is also very biblically accurate. An excellent resource for people of all ages, interests, and denominations to enjoy.

I would recommend this collection to anyone studying the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). I can listen to any CD while driving or just relaxing. Rather than taking the time ro read and re-read, I cna close my eyes and listen. I made the right decision in purchasing 'The Word of Promise'. Thank-you.

Brought 3.so much easier to understand as different voices were used and easier to take in the words and information.wish I had brought thus earlier..wonder and the other two were gifts which the recipients are thoroughly enjoying
