I’m constantly in need of a basic high quality and accurate metal ruler. I finally surrendered all self control and purchased these. An excellent value and dead on accurate. Nice combination of rules. I found the numbered imprints to be as large as could be expected given the scale - readability was fine for me. I didn’t notice any sharp edges as mentioned by another reviewer, check before handing to the kiddies if you’re concerned. I’m going to need another set for the house. Too useful to only own one set.

I like the rulers for its durability and value. The only downside is how sharp the edges are- It’s like a knife. But other than that, it’s great and really like the fact that it has varying sizes.

These are good considering the price. Not a true machinists rule but good for most work.

These are good rulers, and will flex when you need it. Seem durable and of good quality.I recommend them, I feel they are worth the money.

So these are decent enough metal rulers. I'm not using them for very precise measurements for machining or fabrication so they seem fine enough for my purposes. As others indicate they are pretty thin, with some spring to them.My main issue is that the 6" rule as pictured seems to be much more narrow than the 12" counterparts. My set arrived and I was somewhat disappointed in a short, but fat ruler. I had bought the set looking for some thing like Pacific Arc's pocket ruler, which I can't seem to find anymore.

These BREMAN stainless steel rulers are very well made. Weight is just right. Built to last a lifetime. Ends are cut at right angles (except for the ones with the hanger holes, of course). The zero points are almost perfect. The edges are clean, yet not too sharp. The black etchings are so neat. German product? It says "Precision GmbH" and only the low price would make me suspicious - if anything.
