Great Product!
I bought two of these to use on the hot and cold faucets for my washing machine. I am on a well and have to constantly clean the washing machine screens, which is difficult. I had to have a repair person come out a few weeks ago due to residue that kept the cold water flowing even with the washer off. These filters are just what I needed. They are very well made and easy to clean.

Good if you are on City water with not a lot of sediment
I used this for about a year now. Works great. No leaks. If you have well water you should get something else as this will need to be cleaned weekly. To clean it you have to fully disassemble which can be a pain. I switched to a bigger spin down filter.

Works as it should
These work as they should and I have them installed on two pressure washers. Cleaning them out is also easy as the unscrew for easy access to the filter.

Good product, poor quality.
Needed a good inline filter for the garden hose feeding my pressure washer, and I wasn’t interested in those plastic ones.Pros:-Strong all metal filter with a nice design to it. I was worried both ends connected together using the plastic, but from my images you can see it has a rigid metal threaded internal connection.-Allows for attaching 1/4” pressure gauge if desired.Cons:-For a filter that’s designed to be frequently opened and cleaned of trapped debris, the o-ring is a very tight fit and probably won’t last long based on how much compression is required to seal this filter. You can see how it’s squished down pretty hard through the plastic housing. Not to mention it was already stuck to the plastic upon arrival from the visible green color transfer. They also failed to include 1-2 extra o-rings for the filter. For $25 they should’ve included a few.-They failed to include a second 1/4” plug, so this filter is absolutely useless out of the box. These plugs are ultra cheap, there’s no reason not to include it for $25.-Threads for BOTH the 1/4” and 1/2” NPT are not machined to industry standards. These would’ve failed quality inspection at my machine shop. I could barely get a 1/4” plug into it. Only went in about 3 thread of the 6 threads. Their own factory plug doesn’t fully seat either. For the 1/2” NPT to 3/4” GHT adapter I purchased, you can see from my images it will only turn down about 3 of the 7 threads after working it fairly well and removing any burrs. The adapter threads are to spec, I checked with a plug gauge we get 3rd party verified/calibrated for ISO certification. Both threads might hold fine with thread tape since this is a low pressure application, if not I’ll have to return it.Other thoughts:This was described as an “inlet filter” rather than an in-line hose filter, so I don’t expect it to come with the 1/2” to 3/4” GHT adapter. Not including the 1/4” plug however renders it useless. The seller should’ve included a better description and more info so a customer can order these plugs and adapters at the same time they’re ordering the filter.-I would’ve happily paid another $5 if it came with 5 spare o-rings, 1 spare metal filter screen, and a secondary 1/4” NPT plug for thw other port they left open. I spent that much in gas going to purchase one locally.

Wrong size, great design but can’t use
This probably my fault. I was looking for a filter to attach to my washing machine hose as the mesh filters on the hoses build up with sediment every four months and it’s difficult detach and clean out since I have to move the washer. The filter delivered was excellent quality but didn’t fit the standard hoses. I thought they did from the description. The only filter for this use is plastic, has bad reviews and is prone to break and leak. This design would have worked great, just not made for washing machine hoses.
