The only reason I gave it 1 star is because it beeped when you got near the transmitter box. Other than that, I think they sent me a returned item bc the prongs were already on the collar, I’m supposed to put those on myself. Also, the collar wouldn’t shock, it would beep- just not shock.The radius was a joke.. 2 feet each way.My dog heard the beeps, kept walking (bc it didn’t shock) and once out of the transmitter zone, it stopped beeping and he was off to continue more mischief.I believe I got sent a defective unit that was sent back to them based on how the items were packed and not put away as new. At this point, I’m returning with no trust to this company sending out returned defective items.

Just received product. Was very easy to use and set up and works as described to keep dogs out of areas inside house they should not go into. Was able to take down other barriers.

We bought this because we have one dog that stuffs her face and another that likes to graze throughout the day. The "stuffer" knew she wasn't allowed to eat the other dog's food so she'd wait until we were gone to do it. We didn't want to have to keep her locked up or separate the dogs while we were gone so that they could play and keep each other company.This thing is the perfect solution (and we tried many). Since we are only protecting a bowl of food, we set the perimeter size to the smallest setting and the battery on the station will last for several days straight without needing a recharge. We've only charged the collar once since we bought it. The perimeter varies. Sometimes it's a 1ft perimeter, other times it goes as far as 3tf, so our "stuffer" has learned to stay clear of the food bowl just to be safe.All and all we are happy with the purchase, though our "stuffer" keeps asking us to return in :)

Even at the maximum setting, I'm barely getting a range of 3-4 ft. This is after making sure both the transmitter and receiver are charged to their fullest. At that range, the product is totally not useful.

Dont waste your time. The battery in the unit only tasted 2 hours and it does not work with other units . The company will not help you. The only thing that helped is I bought a protection plan

Overall it’s pretty good and does what I need it to. The collar battery life is good and lasts days, however the actual barrier unit barely lasts a half day when not plugged in. It just needs to stay plugged in and in the event of a power outage, it should stay on for a few hours. It’s pretty easy to setup and it definitely did the trick of keeping our 80lb lab off the couch when we’re not around.

This is the perfect solution to keep the dog off if the couch. Simple to setup and use. I am buying more transmitters for other pieces of furniture. Highly recommend.

Getting it setup wasn't too bad. Not intuitive for today's interface expectations, but a quick read of the manual helped me set it up. The biggest issue was the range was 1-3 ft. I tried repositioning, but in the end I couldn't even get it to reach farther than 3ft without any obstructions completely in the open (which wasn't a realistic setup anyway).I returned it because I bought it to keep my dog off the couch, but my couch is bigger than 3ft.

We have two of these devices to keep a very curious German Shepard puppy off the kitchen counter, away from cables and out of the family room when we are not home. We've seen her reaction on camera and the device has instantly adjusted her behaviour.

Bought it to keep my 1 year old lab out of the kitchen. I followed all directions, fully charged both units before use, tested the collar with the tool they sent, the shock and vibration worked. HOWEVER, the barrier is nothing, it only goes off around 1 foot to the base, and doesn't always register that the collar is close by. My lab didn't even feel the shock when he was close enough. I am returning it.
