Trout Magnet Phantom 100% Fluorocarbon Leader Fishing Line, Invisible to Fish, Get More Bites, 50m

I bought this product and wanted an invisible to fish leader line. Well it is almost invisible to humans even out of water. It is remarkably strong but so fine it is almost impossible to tie in a knot. I struggled to tie a surgeon's knot with it. Just know it is finer than babies hair. I am most likely to use it for little trout in streams.

Strong, invisible in the water, and easy to tie for 2lb. My only problem I have has is I have been catching as many largemouths as I have crappies. Which is that really a problem?

Strong, ties good knots, and hard for the fish to see. 4 stars because it frays more than others if your hand slides on it while tying. This doesn’t seem to affect strength though.

Wow did this 3lb leader perform! Unlikely hook up with ~6lb rainbow on light gear. Thought there was no way we were landing it, as it took a ton of line. Finally landed it. Abrasion on the leader and it still held it’s own.

This line of flurocarbon is not a big boy name but I find it on par with stuff that costs 3x times as much. I run a5ft. tippet 2lb with this and trout 3+lb have been landed Give it a try it is my go to.

Great line for a good price. Cheaper than bigger name brand lines and just as effective from what I’ve seen. I’ve used the 6 and 7x tippet for fly fishing a few dozen times and have broken off very rarely. The 7x fluoro seems much stronger and more abrasion resistant than the 5x mono that I normally use.

I’ve used many 2lb lines in the past but this one by far outperforms the rest. I normally catch more trout quicker than the other anglers on the row and they use similar gear with the only difference being this line. It’s pretty expensive but will pay dividends in the long run as long as you are a finesse fisherman. I feel like a ninja angler!
