This should be the standard version for families. It shrinks the original pandemic thus making it much faster to play and easier to learn since a couple rules are simplified. For gamers and not, this game is really great.I like having a quick yet interesting and fun coop to play when we don't have time for a longer game.Notes:- With 2 players the game is almost impossible to lose - but worry not, simply re add one of the epidemics to the deck (dividing the deck into four as in normal pandemic) and it will be much more interesting.- There's a free print and play version on the publishers website- There's also an official variant to play solitaire controlling three characters, it's actually quite good.

Very addictive and my 12year old showed the 5year old how to play so I say great for the family
