I have always been challenged with lifting the back of my scissors and not getting the nice clean close cut that most people get when cutting a pattern and these scissors stop me from lifting and getting that edge most people get as well they are easy on the hands and let me cut much quicker I highly recommend them to anyone who has a little arthritis or is challenged with cutting.
