Nice upgrade for old PC
The first product that was sent was a bust but the replacement was sent right away and worked like a charm. It’s a definite upgrade for my old pc and I would recommend it for anyone wanting to change to a taste ssd.

Very good quality metal material, vents for cooling.
I have some older PC's and most 2.5" to 3.5" drive adapters are cumbersome and ugly. The best one I have is a nice one by Silverstone and even that one is a bit of work before it can be used. This startech adapter basically makes any 2.5" SATA drive into a 3.5" drive, so it slides easily into a 3.5" slot. Good quality metallic feel. To a casual glance you might forget and think it's a standard 3.5" drive.I wish they made a version that converts 2.5" sata drives to IDE. I could throw it into my older systems or my Playstation 2. It wouldn't even be that much work to repurpose the design. Think about it, Startech!

nice little converter, but needs the needs the bigger one that that fits into the 5.5" bay that hold the 3.5"hdd then it kills 2 birds with 1 stone
