Q: Do these Big Joe chairs all go flat? Would you recommend filling it up with more beans before using?

Yes, they ALL go flat. Mine is a big lump of furry material on the floor of my living room. I could put more beans in it (I have two) but I know they will just go flat eventually to so we just leave them like that and use them like fireplace pillows. I bought six other ones similar to this one but with a different texture and all of them have gotten much smaller also. They are in my basement for my boys. They're not completely flat but I would need to refill them with gobs of beans to make them out of that shape of a chair the way they came. My kids still enjoy them very much but they don't look like chairs. Hope that helps.

I have one in my kindergarten classroom and the kids say it's too small.

it is definitely a good size for teenage kids but lasted less than a year. It lost its shape
