Original Bouncyband® Bouncy Bands for School Desks

I bought one of these and some "rubber band" type attachments to see what worked best and was most cost-effective for fidgety 4th graders. This by far was the best. I will have to save up to afford more for my class.

This is an amazing affordable option to trial at home/school. Our daughter has a case of the wiggles at night when we are working on her homework. This was an amazing way for her to still wiggle WHILE continuing to work and stay focused. I am a physical therapist and 100% believe kids need movement for their brain to stay away and be able to learn. I am PRO flexible seating so I wanted to try this as a modified option for home. It is awesome! I also love that the company took a step further and included parent and teacher instructions on how to use and the reason to use. I also love they included grant information and research links as flexible seating for schools can get very $$ so it's wonderful they included options on ideas to make flexible seating in schools a reality. Thank you for making a great product and making it affordable. I will be passing along the idea to her classmates and have already sent information to several teachers.

My daughter (7yrs ADD, ODD, insecure attatchment issues) was having behavior issues at school. She was getting in trouble every day, being disruptive, leaving her seat, fidgeting, drawing in furniture, throwing fits, having emotional break downs in front of her entire class. She was having a lot of issues socially in group activities as well.I came across this and asked her teacher if she thought itd help. She said she did think I could so I bought one. We installed it within a week at her parent teacher conference. Within 2 weeks she was getting better behavior reports. She went from getting daily ✔- or - (poor behavior) to having ✔ or ✔+ (very good behaviors).This one is better than others because its strong and sturdy, the tubes prop up the band so it doesnt have to be readjusted constantly. I dont think it'll lose its 'bounce' from use like others would because of the material. It's just like those heavy duty bungee straps made from tire rubber.

The band is exactly as advertised (appears to be durable and well made) except that it is advertised as fitting desks between 20 and 28 inches wide and that cannot possibly be true. My son's desk legs are less than 24 inches apart and it was HARD to get the bouncy band to stretch. I almost gave up, and I still might end up having to remove it because I'm afraid it'll start bending the desk legs inward. It's a solid desk, but the bouncy band is so, so tight.

This desk band has been a saver for my overly hyper son! I bought this band in hopes that it would help keep my son focused in class since he is constantly messing with stuff or moving around! My son loves this band and it really does help him stay focused in class! I have had his teacher comment on his focus improvement due to the band multiple times! This band it heavy duty and can take a good beating! I will say my only downfall of the band is it was pretty hard to stretch onto the desk legs but that’s because it’s made so well!

I wanted to provide flexible seating in my class, and these simple bands are the hit of my students! Not every student needs to release pent up energy, but a few do, and I will add, these work. For me, they are so much better than the putty and other fidget toys. The feedback is that students are not focusing on the fidget putty etc., but on the work, but still feel they are getting rid of energy. I like these so much I have already ordered 3 of them. Oh, and boy is the rubber tough! It is similar to the quality of a tire! Kudos to this company, and with Amazon Prime, I received these in great time.

This wasn't for me personally but for a teacher. The teacher posted on Facebook that she had a list on Amazon that was a "want" list for her classroom and that she would purchase them herself if she had the money.On her list was the Bouncy Bands for desks. I purchased three of them for her classroom.She was so excited that these were purchased for her classroom but I don't know enough to give a review.I'm sure they are perfect for her kids to use.

I’m a 20 year veteran teacher and a fan of bouncy bands. I’m back for more. I would tell prospective buyers two things- one, they can be difficult to put on by yourself and two, they can still be noisy. If kids rub their shoes on the band instead of bounce, it’s annoying. Kids need a little teaching on how to use them correctly. I usually give a threat of losing it and that fixes it. Kids love having them on their desks and I’ve only had one break in four years.
