I had just bought a new pair of noise cancelling headphones, and in less than a few hours, the 2 month old kitten chewed through the cord that came with them.This is a much sturdier replacement than the original cord, and the cat has not shown any interest in chewing on it.

I was surprised to see that this had Sony branding on the cable as the brand name seemed to indicate it would be a knock off. The cable itself looks/feels the same, the plugs on this one are smaller than the ones that came with the headphones, the original Sony ones are all black and this version had a small grey band on the plug. Seems to work just fine.
