China. Its not a regular wix 51348 gold filter. They still make filters in US. You can get a wix 51348 gold filter made in the USA from rock auto. Theyre under $6. This is over $9 for the cheaper chinese made version. Side by side the two filters ate visibly different. The box is different size as well.

No. Oil filters do not trap any components that make up the oil, but rather trap particles of dirt and metal at a microscopic level. I have been using Wix on my personal cars as well as drag racing engines for over 50 years without 1 failure due to impurity's in the oiling system. I have "blown up" a few over the years, but not from dirty oil. Keep it changed! S/R1

Do you mean a crush washer for the oil drain pug? If yes then no it does not come with one.

CHINA - Why isn't country of origin mentioned? Now you know (with photos)

Good: Quick delivery. All six filters came sealed as a unit (in six boxes), and each filter is individually shrink-wrapped as well.Bad: Unfortunately these are Chinese produced. I've heard Wix does have some production in China, but I'd prefer US made, and would even pay more for. Fingers-crossed for decent quality.

Trusted Filter ...

I've been using Wix, whenever I can get them, for years. I certainly don't have a lab to analyze results but based on all I've read and my own experience these are superior filters at a reasonable cost.

These things make me tired!!!

The biggest problem with these filters is they are round. If your truck is sittin on a hill whilst you are changing yer oil they roll away. If you could maybe make them square it would make changing my oil way quicker cause I wouldn’t have to keep chasing this dang filter to the bottom of the hill. I tried puttin a rock behind it but I accidentally kicked the rock and, well you know what happened then. If you can’t figure a way to make they square could you just put a little kickstand on it like I got on my bicycle??? That would help a bunch and I wouldn’t be so tired once I got done with my oil changin chores.

Much cheaper than auto parts stores

Came as described and it was much cheaper than going to the auto parts store. Ease of install depends on your vehicle, mine unfortunately is in between the exhaust headers. But product fit like a gloveeee.
