Direct fit for Balboa spa heaters. This one installed easily and actually seems to be a bit more powerful than the 5.5kw heater it replaced, using the hot tub's pre and post heater sensors as a reference. Hoping it lasts longer than the Balboa non-titanium heater that was originally installed, which failed after only 5 years.

We bought this product to replace one that we bought in August. The heating element quit working, which was very disappointing since it was not that old. Our original element lasted for years. So far, so good with this one. Maybe the 5.5kw will last longer than our other one.
