No.Use for single phase connection.

can I connect one 230V AC single phase input on one side and motor 1 [0.5 hp] to terminal1, motor 2 [0.75 hp] to terminal2 to switch on only 1 motor?

No, you can not use it directly on a Motor you need a contactor and this selector switch operates the contactor and the contactor operates the motor
