SwarovskiModular Objective 115 mm Arca Swiss Green 48815

This is the best spotting scope I have ever used

I bought this 115mm objective, along with the BTX eye-piece module. The optics are absolutely fabulous, and is the typical exercise of Swarovski going where nobody else has gone before, from a design perspective. Even in near dark conditions, the 115mm draws in gobs of light.Combined with the BTX eye-piece, it provides a pseudo-binocular experience, where both eyes are used in the viewing. Totally recommended, assuming the user is comfortable with the bulk of this large optic.

The image quality is great, but so was the 95 mm lens I previously used, I am a huge Swarovski fan, but for the Arca type mount they used the exact same one they used for the 85 and 95 lenses. The 115 mm needs to be recalled, I cannot recommend this lens because it is big and bulky, overpriced lens that Swarovski needs to issue a recall to fix this major design flaw.
