Q: How does the product come out? I have shaken, twisted, but the sponge remains white in color.

I had the same question!! I ended up twisting it in the direction it makes a clicking noise until the top became dark with color. I did have to twist for longer than I thought necessary!!

Q: I bought this but can’t get the color to appear. Is there a trick to this?

Shake it then keep twisting. I had to click for what seemed like forever before the color came up. Make sure you shake because it’s a bit oily.

Q: How come the color swatches are all messed up on the pictures? Do you get the color it says on the name or the color you see on the photo?

When I ordered I didn't notice any discrepancy. I ordered 3 different colors and received the ones I intended
