Good for jobs around the house. Just the right size for home projects and crafts. Straight claw is great for opening paint cans. I would recommend a bigger 20 ounce for framing and building a deck as this 16 ounce was a little light for big nails.

Great hammer, this was bought as a gift for a first time home owner cause we all need a hammer. But Irwin hammers are great they last, they don’t dent easily.

Standard Household Hammer
Has the old school hanmer feel to it. It is top heavy and will make as good household hammer. Modern ones may work better but they just feel weird to me
