Q: Can you fold the front cover to lay against the back cover?

No, you cannot. I was trying to add a pic, but I can’t seem to do it. The book can open and lay flat, but that spine is too stiff to fold the cover all the way back.

Q: Every time I order the black 8x10 of these, they come with a big scratch on the same exact spot on the first page. Anyone else having this problem?

No I never have had that problem. I have used these several times. I have family that took a vacation and came back with over a 100 photos.

Q: Is this extendable? Can I add more pages? Are pages sold separate?

The 24 top-loading poly pockets of the CRANBURY 5x7" picture book are bound (non-refillable), i.e. there is no way to add more pages. Please note that the sleeves are clear, so that you can display photos back-to-back; thus the 24 sleeves are able to display 48 photos.
