nippon kodo Kayuragi Incense Sticks - Jasmine, Japanese Quality Incense

Having used nippon kodo's cherry blossom incense prior and enjoying that, I thought I'd branch out and try some of their other scents.Their jasmine scent took me by surprise as I liked it far more than I thought I would. The scent itself is very much jasmine. Some will think it may be overpowering, so do bear that in mind if you like a more subtle scent. There's never an obscene amount of smoke that's given off and it could maybe last a bit longer in terms of how fast it burns away. But I do overall enjoy it and would recommend trying their other scents out as the price point is very wallet friendly.

I have purchased several of the nippon kodo incense box sets. I am quite picky about incense and do not tolerate chemical smells. Before purchasing the Jasmine, I had fallen in love with their Cherry blossom and Rose, both of which make our house smell so beautiful everyone that comes over comments on how nice it smells - and we have a dog in a small space. The Jasmine has not disappointed us. In fact, it may be even more lovely than the cherry blossom - certainly its equal. Worth every penny despite the fact these burn quickly.

I love the jasmine scent. It is very calming relaxing .. the all-natural, no wood stick is very clean burning.

This scent was not for me. A tad bit too powerful for my liking. Others may find it pleasing. Scent does linger. Love nippon kodo Sandalwood which I have been buying for years and adore. I always have it on hand and my place pretty much is embedded with the smell of nippon sandalwood and I always get complements on how great it smells.

It really depends on what you order. Sandlewood is nice. Cherry Blossom isn't for me. Jasmine smells like smoke, not jasmine. Aloeswood is nice.

I frequently purchase Kayuragi incense in several different scents because I am always very happy with the fragrances and quality for price. Highly recommend.

I used to buy Sai Baba Nag Champa but stopped years ago when I discovered the scandals surrounding his sexual offenses. It's hard to find real high quality incense. These are the real deal. Refined fragrances, beautiful packaging and the simplicity of Zen. They do burn fast, but that doesn't matter much to me if I enjoy the aroma.
