My first order was delivered with a defect (the "bezel" lid/cover was misaligned with the clock face). After a few bumps in the process, Amazon handled an exchange to my satisfaction. But the replacement clock showed up with a missing piece (apparently broken off in transit due to insufficient packaging). The pendulum guide could not attach to the suspension spring on the clock motor. I called Howard Miller to have them send me a new part. They told me they would, but two weeks passed, and nothing came in the mail. When I called them back, they said they had no record of sending the part or of my purchase on Amazon, and that they normally wouldn't send new parts for Amazon orders anyway. I give up. The price on this item—even with the retail discount—is too high for the lack of care.

I've had this clock for a long time. It's timeless ;) in that beautiful, rich, yet neutral kind of way.

I purchased this clock 10 years ago and it still looks beautiful on my wall. I like it's simple lines. It's not ornate so it will never go out of style. I purchased it for approximately $500, so it has gone up in price over the years. I've never had it worked on but it still runs great. I highly recommend.
