I use this all the time...it's great

I had eczema badly as a child, it seemed to clear up but returned in my late twenties. I've found e45 and other readily available ointments/creams just don't work for me, it seems to degrade in minutes and i'm flaying myself scratching the heck out of my skin before long.I came across a tub of this by chance and I've found it to be the best preventative emollient. I'd say i'd tried about 6 or 7 different brands prior to this.If i use this I do not get rashes in these areas. I'm really hoping this stuff is around forever, I always have a kilo tub, I apply the ointment daily. As i said before it's the only one that's consistently worked for me. I do need to keep using it though, if I use any kind of regular shower gel without applying this then the itching soon begins!If you try this I hope it works for you, everyone is different but I've found this to be a lifesaver and I can't say enough good things about it.I'm not always great about leaving product reviews but i'm doing this because this stuff has drastically improved my eczema and therefore my life, if you're really suffering with it then it's definitely worth a go. I know how maddening eczema can be, sleepless nights and profusely bleeding in the middle of meetings etc because you've scratched the back of your knee into an open wound!In my case i'd probably cure whatever rashes i have with Eumovate (that's a steroid cream available over the counter in U.K pharmacies though I was prescribed a larger measure of it because a tiny tube is £10.00. It works but it's nasty and you don't want to use this stuff a lot), then areas that regularly rash up, put this stuff on it in abundance as a preventative measure. As long I apply this daily, i don't get any skin irritation or itching. It is greasy but if you're like me that's a worth while trade off for a rash free existence. I don't think you'd generally put it on your face but i don't see why you couldn't in all honesty. I'd ask the seller about that though if it concerns you just to be on the safe side!

I have been using this product for over ten years on my face because of dry flaking skin. It keeps my face moist. I started to use it to moisture my skin, its a great product, keeps my skin moisture all day. I only buy it from Amazon its 1kg great value for money.

I suffer with dermatitis on my hands and tried many different lotions and creams. This is the only thing I have found that actually works! It is very thick and greasy but I find I only need to apply it once in the morning and evening to keep my hands soft (i prefer to apply it to slightly damp skin to stop it feeling so greasy). Without this ointment my hands would be cracking and bleeding so it's definitely an essential part of my skincare routine.

After having a painful skin reaction resulting in spots when ever I've used shower gels including sensitive or dermo. I got so fed up with it and tried Aqueous cream, E45 and Aveeno but I still kept breaking out in a itch n scratch cycle. I heard about Epaderm from my daughter who used it on one of the kids for eczema and it cleared up.I purchased it in a high street store in a medium tub then found the larger tub on Amazon at a more reasonable price. I use it every day instead of shower gel. Now thinking of subscribing to Amazon to have it delivered when i need it. Epaderm is excellent I use it also on my face to wash and moisturise.So happy i found something that really works.

Couldn't order the smaller pots of Epaderm but I'm pleased with the large 1KG pot, it is so much cheaper to buy this way and to transfer the Epaderm into smaller pots to use around the house. I'm intolerant of all preservatives in moisturisers and makeups which is very limiting but Epaderm saves the day for facial skin and hands. Essential moisturiser with all this necessary hand washing.The Epaderm cream is also fabulous. They arrived in France, we're in lockdown, within 2 days of ordering from the UK, all supremely efficient, thank you Amazon.

Compared to my existing cream [which doesn't seem to be available in UK] I found this sticky and a bit uncomfortable, however it seems to provide my irritable skin with the allover, long lasting, layer of protection/hydration that it needs, so unless I can find anything better at a reasonable price I will more than likely buy again.
