What's the usable length?

Only 2 inches long (does NOT extend through the receiver for a 1.25 hitch)

what is the length of the straight part of the pin?

I don't have the pin with me but it was to short to go they a class 3 hitch.

What is the size of the hole the clip goes into? I have a lock for it and need to kmow the size of the pin hole.

If you have a lock for that pin hole, it would sure be a tiny lock. Don't know exactly, but the cotter pin for that hole is probably no more than 1/8" inch. These pins are not designed for a 'lock'. I'd guess that a pair of wire cutters would snip any lock small enough to fit that hole. There are better locking pin choices.
