Q: Hi there does this lawnmower cut coarse grass that is on ground that is a bit unlevel?

no it is only really suitable for level ground and easy to cut grass. In addition after just over a year of light use either the blades or cutting edge has distorted so it now catches on each rotation and makes a banging/clanking sound. Would now recommend avoiding this model.

Q: I have to store this in a small lean-to. Is the handle easily detachable to save room?

Yes, this is amazingly quick to disassemble and reassemble. Just a few easy turn bolts and two R pins. I always store mine back in the original box so with practice you can have it broken down or built in just three to four minutes. It also cuts with hardly any pushing effort. A bit costly but very "Eco", grass collector is at bit small but still functional. I love this mower, worth every penny. Actually kess effort than the hoover mower I have.
